there’s a difference between expressing your needs and literally scaring and manipulating the people you care about into paying attention to you though? a giant difference?

if you have abandonment issues or fears of being alone, /communicate that/ instead of threatening suicide or guilting someone into staying your friend bc you’re making them the bad guy for leaving.

legit, you can say, “i’m very afraid of being alone, spending time with you is important to me, i have issues with feeling abandoned that can put me in a really scary place,” etc. bc this way you’re telling the other person about your fears without making them stay your friend or your partner or whatever.

it’s not healthy for you or for the other person when you threaten suicide. and honestly it’s an extremely shitty thing to do. you’re literally telling that person “if you don’t do what i ask my blood is on your hands.” like?? that’s?? not okay??
